British Poker Open Action Heats Up on PokerGO
The final table is set for the third event of the inaugural British Poker Open at Aspers Casino on PokerGO. After victories by both Luc Greenwood and George Wolff in the first two events, a familiar cast of characters battles for the title in Event #3 on PokerGO on Thursday afternoon in London.
The final table of the third event is highlighted by High Roller of the Year leader Sam Soverel – runner-up in Event #2 -, Sam Greenwood, and Elio Fox. The chip counts coming into the final table on PokerGO are as follows.

Luc Greenwood Wins Event #1 – £10,000 No Limit Hold’em
The firs event of the British Poker Open drew a total of 26 entries and with that a prize pool of £260,000. Luc Greenwood from Canada came out on top as he continued his stellar 2019 in which he’s cashed for $1.8 million to date. Greenwood defeated Steve O’Dwyer heads-up who now sits 11th on poker’s all-time money list with $28.1 million in total earnings. Greenwood took home £119,000 for his victory.

George Wolff Wins Event #2 – £10,000 Pot Limit Omaha
The second event drew 30 total entrants and George Wolff took it down for the second largest score of his live tournament career. The high-level play at the final table created a great viewing experience as Gavin Cochrane, Stephen Chidwick, Sam Soverel, and Wolff put on quite the show. Eventually Wolff beat Soverel heads up to take home £120,000.
