Malta Poker Festival 2026 Schedule Includes The Hendon Mob Championship & €3M in Guarantees

The Malta Poker Festival returns to Portomaso Casino this October with three headline events boasting a combined €3 million in guarantees, plus another stop for The Hendon Mob Championship.

€1 Million MPF Grand Event Leads the Way

The Malta Poker Festival has revealed the schedule for its 2026 edition, another packed programme of poker action in one of Europe’s favourite poker destinations.

The headline attraction is the €1,000,000 guaranteed MPF Grand Event, which will see 2025 WSOP Main Event champion Michael Mizrachi take on a special hosting role during the festival.

With a seven-figure guarantee and multiple starting flights, the MPF Grand Event is set to be one of the festival’s centrepieces.

€1.5 Million IPS Main Event & €500k GTD IPS Mini

The festival’s biggest guarantee comes courtesy of the €1,500,000 guaranteed IPS Main Event, giving players another major tournament to target during the Malta Poker Festival.

The IPS schedule also includes the €500,000 guaranteed IPS Mini, creating a pair of substantial events at different buy-in levels and ensuring there are plenty of opportunities for players looking to chase a major score.

Together, the MPF Grand Event, IPS Mini and IPS Main account for €3 million in guaranteed prize money, before the rest of the festival schedule is factored in.

The Hendon Mob Championship Returns to Malta

The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) is once again part of the Malta Poker Festival schedule, with the latest Malta stop taking place on October 27 and 28.

The Malta Poker Festival has been the home of The Hendon Mob Championship since its inception in 2018. We are delighted to be a founding partner of the MPF and look forward to hosting players at Portomaso Casino at both editions of the MPF every year.

Day 1 of THMC Malta XII will begin at 3 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 27. The event carries a €230 buy-in, with players starting with 30,000 chips and playing 30-minute levels. Day 2 will take place on Wednesday, October 28, at 3 p.m., and will crown a winner.

2026 THMC Winners to be Awarded South African Millions Package

The Hendon Mob and our South African partners are offering all 2026 THMC Main Event winners a package to the THMC SA Millions, taking place later this year.

The SA Poker Open and THMC SA Millions 2026 package is worth approximately €2,500. It includes seven nights of accommodation, transfers to the venue, a €500 travel allowance, and a THMC SA Millions ticket worth R9,000.

The three headline events and THMC are just part of the programme.
