Malta Poker Festival Spring Edition Kicks Off Today at Portomaso Casino
It’s that time of year again, and the Malta Poker Festival Spring Edition is here. Starting today, April 17th and running through April 27th, the MPF Spring Edition returns to its home at Portomaso Casino in St. Julian’s. MPF Spring features all of the fan favourites, including The Hendon Mob Championship and the €500,000 guaranteed MPF Grand Event, which gets the party started.
As a bonus for players arriving and competing on the first day of the festival, Day 1B features a half-price entry, bringing the buy-in down to just €300. The starting stacks and blind levels are set at 30,000 chips and 30 minutes. Day 1A capped off the recent Italian Poker Open held at Portomaso.
Among the returning events on the schedule are the MPF Cup, Sviten Special, Betsson One Bullet, APAT Maltese Championship, Ladies First, MPF Seniors, bounties, high rollers, mixed games, and more.
The Hendon Mob Championship Malta
The Malta Poker Festival is the home of The Hendon Mob Championship, first debuting in 2018. We are delighted to be a founding partner of the MPF and look forward to hosting players at Portomaso Casino at both editions of the MPF every year.
This Spring event marks the 11th time the MPF has hosted a THMC event. Day 1 of THMC Malta will begin at 14:00 local time on Friday, April 24. The event carries a €250 buyin with players starting with 30,000 chips and playing 25-minute levels. Late registration is open for the first 10 levels. Day 2 will take place on April 25 at 16:00.
2026 THMC Malta Winner to be Awarded South African Million Package
The Hendon Mob and our South African partners are offering all 2026 THMC winners a package to the THMC South African Million, taking place later this year.
The South African Million 2026 package is worth approximately €2,500. It includes seven nights of accommodation, transfers to the venue, a €500 travel allowance, and a THMC South African Million ticket worth R8,000. Full details will be provided soon!
