APT’s 20th Anniversary Year Begins in Jeju; 10 Days, 99 Events, KRW 4.9 Billion (~USD 3.4 Million) in Guarantees with 7 APT Championship Main Event Seats Up for Grabs
Kicking off the 2026 poker season in style, the Asian Poker Tour — sponsored by Natural8 — heads to Jeju for the upcoming APT Jeju Classic 2026, running Friday, January 30 to Sunday, February 8 at the tournament tables of LES A Casino located at the luxurious Jeju Shinhwa World resort in partnership with Landing Entertainment Korea.
Following a record-setting 2025, the series kickstarts the APT’s 20th anniversary year with an action-packed schedule featuring 99 events, including 18 high rollers, 15 assorted mixed games, 17 Omaha events, and over KRW 4.9 billion (~USD 3.4 million) in guaranteed prize pools.
Headlined by the KRW 2.3 million (~USD 1,600) buy-in APT Jeju Main Event, which carries an impressive KRW 2.2 billion (~USD 1.5 million) guarantee, the APT Jeju Classic 2026 will also be awarding seven coveted seats to the APT Championship 2026 (APTC) Main Event, the USD 5M guaranteed season-ending showpiece taking place from November 13–29, 2026 in Taipei.
The top three finishers in the APT Jeju Classic Main Event and the winners of the following events all claim a ~USD 10,000 buy-in seat to the APTC Main Event:

- 2nd and 3rd Place Finishers in the Main Event
- APT Super High Roller Champion
- APT High Roller Champion
- Superstar Challenge Champion
- Zodiac Classic Champion
The tour’s other two signature trophy tournaments, the KRW 15M buy-in APT Super High Roller and the KRW 5M buy-in APT High Roller, come with KRW 500 million (~USD 345,000) and KRW 700 million (~USD 484,000) prize pool guarantees, respectively, with the Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8 also sporting a KRW 500 million guarantee.
