Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open 2023

If the start of summer in Las Vegas has padded your bankroll or you’re looking for the next big score, the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) is around the corner. For the ninth straight year, the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida is hosting the SHRPO. The jam-packed 54-event festival runs from July 26 to August 8. Millions and millions of dollars are guaranteed including $3,000,000 for the SHRPO Championship.

The annual festival starts with its usual bang; $1,000,000 guaranteed for just a $400 entry. Players of all disciplines and bankrolls can find something to play from there. From Ladies’ events to Seniors’ events, Big-O, PLO, O8, and 8-game Mix. High Rollers, Super High Rollers, Big Stacks, Deep Stacks, Quad Stacks and more. There are also 36 satellites for major events.

$3,000,000 GTD Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship

The headline event of the 2023 SHRPO gets underway on August 4. The Championship event carries a buy-in of $5,300 and allows one re-entry per flight. Day 1B follows on August 5. Both starting flights kick off at 11 am local time. Mega satellites begin on August 2.

In 2022, the SHRPO Championship drew 1,100 entries. Sergio Aido took the top share of a $5,383,500 guarantee-smashing prize pool. Aido overcame a stacked final table which included five players with over $4.5M in total live tournament earnings; James Mackey, Justin Liberto, Chris Brewer, James Collopy, and Aido himself.
