Prestigious Master Classics of Poker Back for the 31st Time

Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum is welcoming players to the 31st edition of the most renowned international poker tournament in the Netherlands. From the 10th to the 18th of November 2023, the Master Classics of Poker (MCOP) offers a full week of specials and events that poker fans should not miss.

The rich history of the MCOP has attracted the world’s best players and some have even left with the hardware. French crusher, Julien Sitbon won the Main Event and €237,808 in 2022 after topping a field of 498 entries. Sitbon joined the likes of Bas de Laat, Jussi Nevanlina, Ruben Visser, Noah Boeken, and Ole Schemion, who also won the prestigious MCOP trophy.

The festival kicks off with the famous €1,650 No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry tournament and in the evening a festive event in the beautiful Grand Café Lido. In addition to the € 3,000 Main Event, a packed schedule awaits with 2-day NLH and Pot Limit Omaha events, High Rollers, bounty tournaments, hyper turbos and satellites.

2023 Master Classics of Poker €3,000 Main Event

The headlining event of the 2023 Master Classics of Poker is the €3,000 Main Event which gets underway on November 14th. Players have the option of three Day 1 starting flights with Day 1B and a turbo Day 1C flight on November 15th. Starting stacks are 30,000 chips with 45-minute levels for A and B. Day 1C has 20-minute levels. Re-entry is permitted for the first six levels.

€4,300 High Roller Mystery Bounty

Just before the Main Event gets underway, the players with deeper pockets will enjoy a featured event. Day 1 of the €4,300 High Roller Mystery Bounty begins on November 12th. €2,000 from each buy-in will go toward the bounty pool. Players start with 40,000 in chips and 40-minute levels. Re-entry is permitted until the start of Day 2.
