Malta Poker Festival Spring Edition Underway
The Globa Poker Award-nominated Malta Poker Festival Spring Edition kicks off today at Potomaso Casino in fabulous Malta. This highly sought-after annual festival is one that many poker players have marked down. This edition of the MPF runs until April 29th with 18 events on the schedule, including a €300,000 guaranteed MPF Grand Event powered by UDSO and The Hendon Mob Championship.
Along with Unibet Deepstack Open and THMC, the list of returning partners and sponsors grows yearly, including Bounty Hunter Days, Betsson, APAT, NordicBet, Betsafe, HiBet, COOLBET, and more. Many of the events will be hosted by community members, including Jeanne David, Rolf Arne Bechstrom, Kerryjane Craigie, and returning MPF Seniors Event champion Buddy Villaluz.
Kerryjane will host the Ladies First! event powered by LIPS on Saturday, April 27th, with a LIPS meet-up game the evening before.
The Home of The Hendon Mob Championship
The Malta Poker Festival has been the home of The Hendon Mob Championship since its inception in 2018. We are delighted to be a founding partner of the MPF and look forward to hosting players at Portomaso Casino at both editions of the MPF every year.
THMC will once again close out the Spring Edition with Day 1 beginning at 1 p.m. local time on Sunday, April 29th. The event carries a €250 buyin with players starting with 30,000 chips and playing 30-minute levels. Late registration is open for the first 10 levels, and unlimited re-entries are permitted.
2024 THMC Winners to be Awarded Cape Town Million Package
In addition to the custom THMC trophy and THM profile badge for the winner, The Hendon Mob and Sunbet Poker Tour by MJPT are offering The Hendon Mob Championship winners across 2024 a package to the THMC Cape Town Million later this year. Winners of the package will receive the chance to attend SunBet Poker Tour Cape Town with accommodation, transfers, and a THMC Cape Town Million ticket worth R8,000. €300,000 Guaranteed MPF Grand Event Powered by Unibet DSO
The Malta Poker Festival and Unibet Deepstack Open have collaborated to bring players a major festival with a fitting main event. The MPF Grand Event boasts a €300,000 guarantee with a buyin of €550. There are six Day 1 flights starting on Wednesday, April 24th, with satellites running from the festival’s opening day.
Players start with 50,000 chips and play 40-minute levels for Days 1A through D. Day 1E and F are turbo flights with 20-minute levels. Late registration is open for the first 10 levels, and two re-entries are permitted.
