Irish Poker Open 2023 Schedule Drops; THMC Returns to Ireland

The full schedule for the 2023 Irish Poker Open has been announced. Kicking off on April 3rd at the Royal Dublin Society, the oldest poker tournament in Europe will host 39 events running through April 10th. Highlighted by a €1,000,000 guaranteed Irish Open Main Event. The festival also sees The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) return for the third time.

The Irish Open has been around for more than 40 years. This year, the historic festival finds a new home at the Royal Dublin Society in the heart of Dublin City. €1,000,000 Guaranteed Irish Poker Open Main Event

There are four Day 1 flights for the €1,150 Irish Open Main Event. Day 1A gets underway at noon on April 5th with Day 1B on the 6th. Both Day 1C and Day 1D will be played on the 7th. Day 1D will be a turbo structure. All survivors will return for Day 2 on April 8th with the winner crowned on Day 4.

Players will start with 30,000 chips and 60-minute levels (Day 1D 20-mins). One re-entry is permitted per day and late registration will remain open until the start of Day 2. Click here for full details of the Main Event.

The Hendon Mob Championship & Other Side Events

This will be the third time The Hendon Mob and the Irish Poker Open have partnered to bring the THMC to the festival. Cards get in the air for the THMC on April 4th at 4pm. Entry for the THMC is €250 with late reg open for the first eight 30-minute levels. Players begin with 15,000 chips.

Other key events of the 2023 Irish Open are a €350 NLH Head’s-Up event, €5,000 High Roller, €350 America’s Cup, €250 Ladies Championship, a shortdeck event, PLO events, JP Poker Masters, €1,100 Mystery Bounty, and a Seniors Championship.

The Irish Open has partnered up with several online poker operators including PokerStars and Paddy Power.
