Irish Open Qualifiers Record Set to be Shattered

The 2023 Irish Poker Open kicks off in less than three weeks and this year is on track for a record number of Irish Open qualifiers. Europe’s oldest tournament gets underway on April 3rd at a new home, the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge. A total of 40 events are scheduled with the series wrapping up on April 10th.

More than 350 players have already won their €1,150 Irish Open Main Event seats on PokerStars which has a ton of feeder satellites running for as little as €1.09. There are still numerous chances to qualify. A total of 23 entries are guaranteed every week from now until April 2. Satellites on PokerStars are continuing throughout March and on Sunday, March 19, there will be a Mega satellite with 20 x Seats + Expenses guaranteed.

Paddy Power has also been racking up the qualifier numbers. Around 150 players have already secured their seats in Dublin. This week is the penultimate week for satellites on Paddy Power and the iPoker network. There are a raft of seats and packages up for grabs. Paddy Power is also running a Mega satellite on March 20 with 10 seats guaranteed.
