WPT Makes Historic Debut at INSPIRE Incheon With KRW 1 Billion Guaranteed Championship

The World Poker Tour is heading to a spectacular new home in South Korea this autumn, with WPT Seoul making its historic debut at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon.

Running from October 30 to November 9, 2026, the festival will be the first major tournament series staged inside INSPIRE’s brand-new second-floor entertainment space, bringing together the newly opened YY Poker Club, Daia and the Ultra Lounge for what promises to be one of the biggest poker festivals in Asia this year.

With a packed schedule, major guarantees and a state-of-the-art new poker room, WPT Seoul is set to give players plenty of reasons to make the trip to South Korea.

A KRW 1 Billion Guaranteed Main Event

The centrepiece of the festival is the WPT Seoul INSPIRE Championship, which comes with a KRW 1 billion guaranteed prize pool.

The Championship carries a KRW 1.75 million buy-in. It gets underway on November 5, with four starting flights running through November 7, followed by Day 2 on November 8 and the final day on November 9.

The final table will also be broadcast via a dedicated livestream, allowing the eventual champion to win one of the biggest titles on the WPT calendar in front of a global audience.

The Championship isn’t the only major guaranteed event on offer. The schedule also includes a KRW 100 million guaranteed Championship Warm Up, while the KRW 3.5 million High Roller carries a KRW 150 million guarantee.

For those looking to play at the sharp end of the schedule, a KRW 8 million Super High Roller and a KRW 3.3 million Mystery Bounty High Roller are also on the menu.

46 Events Across 11 Days

WPT Seoul offers considerably more than the headline Championship.

The 46-event schedule offers buy-ins ranging from KRW 300,000 to KRW 8 million, providing plenty of options for recreational players as well as the region’s established tournament regulars.

The opening days feature the KRW 100 million guaranteed Championship Warm Up alongside PLO, Big O, Mystery Bounty, Freezeout and various NLH formats.

As the festival progresses, players can choose from multiple PLO events, Mystery Bounty tournaments, High Rollers, Super High Rollers and a variety of turbo and hyper-turbo events.

The final weekend brings the main attraction into focus, with the billion-KRW Championship running alongside the High Roller and Mini Championship before the festival concludes on November 9

A Brand-New Poker Destination

Perhaps the biggest story surrounding WPT Seoul is the venue itself.

The festival will be held at YY Poker Club, which WPT describes as Asia’s newest major poker room. The facility features 70 poker tables and a dedicated livestream studio, providing a purpose-built setting for the inaugural WPT festival at INSPIRE.

WPT Seoul will also be the first tournament staged in INSPIRE’s new second-floor entertainment space, making the festival part of the resort’s wider launch.

That space brings together YY Poker Club, the exclusive Daia junket room and Ultra Lounge, creating a destination that extends well beyond the poker tables.

More Than Just Poker

INSPIRE Entertainment Resort is a destination in its own right.

Located next to Incheon International Airport, the resort features a 1,275-room five-star hotel, a 15,000-seat arena, an indoor water park, shopping and dining facilities, and a huge range of entertainment options.

The World Poker Tour has hosted tournaments in 48 countries and awarded more than $1.5 billion in prize money since its launch in 2002. Now, the WPT is adding a spectacular new Asian destination to that list.
