$250,000 GTD GAPT Summer Deep Stack at Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club has announced the $250,000 Guaranteed Summer Deep Stack Great American Poker Tournament, which will take place from July 24 to 29 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The tournament is poised to be the most significant collaborative effort within Delaware North’s Gaming division, featuring qualifiers from Gate City Casino in Nashua, N.H., Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Cross Lanes, W.Va., and Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, in Wheeling, W.Va.

The tournament is part of the club’s prestigious Great American Poker Tournaments (GAPT) series and promises a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000.

Since its inception, Great American Poker Tournaments (GAPT) have quickly become a favorite among local and regional poker players, generating millions in winnings and earning a reputation as one of Florida’s top tournament brands. This year’s Summer Deep Stack event will build on that success, offering players an unparalleled poker experience in a world-class destination.

Qualifying events are scheduled at each participating location from mid-June through the beginning of July. Highlights for each qualifier include:

• Gate City Casino (Nashua, N.H.): Sunday, June 23, beginning at 10 a.m., with a $300 buy-in. The top four place winners will receive a $500 seat in the Summer Deep Stack tournament and qualifier tournament winnings.
  
• Mardi Gras Casino & Resort (Cross Lanes, W.Va.): June 19 and 26 and July 10, beginning at 4 p.m. each day, with a $150 buy-in. The top two winners will receive a prize package valued at $3,000, including a $500 seat in the Summer Deep Stack tournament.
  
• Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack (Wheeling, W.Va.): June 22 and 29 and July 6, beginning at 1 p.m. each day, with a $150 buy-in. Top winners, up to four each day, will receive a prize package valued at $3,000, including a $500 seat in the Summer Deep Stack tournament.
