10 Days Out From The Festival in Malta; Over 50 Events Await

Poker players from all over the world will be heading to Malta and the Portomaso Casino in just 10 days. The Festival in Malta promises to deliver something for everyone and the 50+ events on the schedule will see to it. The eight-day festival kicks off on May 14th and runs through May 21st. Poker, blackjack, slots, sports betting, and Malta nightlife await.

A number of partners and sponsors have lined up to be a part of The Festival in Malta. The PokerListings Championship and The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) headline a slew of side events. Special guest, Laura Cornelius will host an event for female players. The over-50 crowd will have some special guests as well in the Seniors event. Anyone 49 years or older may take part!

A number of High Rollers line the schedule including a Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold’em, and Open-Face Chinese event. In addition, the schedule includes Blackjack and Roulette tournaments that have already been established, as well as a newly updated slot tournament and a sports betting tournament.

The Festival in Malta Feature Events

The Hendon Mob Championship

For the third consecutive stop, The Festival Series will host a THMC event. The Hendon Mob Championship will return home to the place it all started years ago. And, for the second time in less than a month. The winner will receive not only an exclusive custom trophy but also a custom badge on their THM profile. Day 1 of THMC is slated for Friday, May 19. THMC features a €250 buyin and unlimited re-entry for the first 10 levels. Players start with 25,000 chips and levels are 30 minutes.

The Festival team wants to make it easy for players to book their accommodation. They have made reservations at three hotels, with options for different price ranges. Players have the option of booking the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel, Hotel Valentina, or Mercure St.Julien´s Malta. Prices start as low as €110 per night for a single room and all packages include breakfast.
