Pokahnights Open: First Major Festival in Middelkerke
In mid-June, Pokahnights – Belgium’s largest live poker club – opened its first official casino room at the Betfirst Casino in Middelkerke. After a successful opening weekend, Pokahnights is now announcing its very first large-scale festival: the Pokahnights Open. This 10-day series, centred around a €550 Main Event, will take place from August 21 to 31.
A Truly Extensive Offering
Pokahnights is going big right from the start. No less than €325,000 in guaranteed prize pool is up for grabs across the various events. The schedule is diverse and includes numerous qualifiers, meaning every poker player is welcome in the Pokahroom during the festival and is sure to find a tournament that suits them. Cash games will also run non-stop throughout the event.
Highlights
Here are the must-play events of the festival:
- €550 Main Event: August 24–31, €200,000 GTD, featuring 8 starting flights.
- €250 Mini Main: August 21–24, €40,000 GTD, with a unique deep 7-max structure.
- €1,000 Highroller: August 27–28, €25,000 GTD, an exclusive premium event.
- €550 Mystery Bounty: August 30–31, €45,000 GTD, including a €10,000 Top Bounty!

From November 6 to 16, Pokahroom Middelkerke will bring the WSOP back to Belgium after nearly 10 years!
