One Week Away From SiGMA Poker Tour Malta at Portomaso Casino
The Hendon Mob is proud to be partnered with SiGMA Poker Tour, and we are thrilled to be heading to Malta next week for their first stop on home soil. SPT Malta kicks off on Tuesday, September 2nd, at the prestigious Portomaso Casino. Over the week, SiGMA will combine its summit’s 10th anniversary with a poker festival boasting events like The Hendon Mob Championship and a €150,000 guaranteed Main Event.
SPT Malta begins with a Warm-Up event, boasting three SPT Malta Main Event seats added to the prize pool. Then the first of seven Main Event flights gets underway, along with a handful of Main Event satellites. There is also a Cubeia Platinum Freeroll for VIPs, a closing Mystery Bounty, and the popular SiGMA Divas ladies event, which features a freeroll for anyone registered at the first level.
SPT brand ambassadors John Arne Riise, Lukas Robinson, and Drea Karlsen will be on hand and in the fields. The schedule also includes a meet-and-greet with the team and several other networking opportunities.
The Hendon Mob Championship Returns Home
The Hendon Mob Championship originated in Malta, and we host a premier side event several times a year at our home, Portomaso Casino. THMC Malta at SPT Malta is a single-day event on Saturday, September 6th, starting at 2 p.m. local time. The event features a buyin of €220 with 30-minute levels and 30k chips to start.

SiGMA Poker Tour Malta Full Schedule
The SiGMA Poker Tour launched in April 2025, debuting in São Paulo, Brazil, and was founded by Ivonne Montaleagre, the founder of the Battle of Malta and Malta Poker Festival. Montaleagre has a proven track record of successfully launching new live poker projects. The tour is designed to connect gaming professionals from around the globe and bring the poker community closer to the iGaming industry.
