23:40 right now, I imagine the fight will start in around 20 mins.
Just noticed bute is 13/8 on Betfred to win by decision or technical decision.
Value!! |

| Only chance bute has IMO is to win by points. His unbeaten record is like a who's who of total bums where as froch is fearless. |

We will see how good Bute is tonight. He has better boxing skills than Froch and he also hits hard to the head and body. He is also a lot bigger than Froch.
Froch is very strong and his only chance is to win by KO. It would not surprise me if that happened, or if Bute even KO's Froch...but I have to feel that the favourite scenario is Bute by unanimous decision.
We will see.

| And if Bute wins and he fights WArd next, well time to remortgage your house as ward won't lose one round. |

Yeah...a bit special that Ward.
A prime Calzaghe v Ward would have been a super fight. |

Yeah, think Ward wins but would be a master class of boxing. |

Unfortunately we will have to leave it in those 'what if' categories.
Shame it didn't happen as Calzaghe really was a class and strong fighter. Would have been a great test for both. |

| Good two rounds from Froch so far, Bute is easier to hit than I thought. |

Imo Prime Calzaghe loses to prime Jones JR and BHOP every day of the week and Ward is going to be all time top 10 p4p |

| Awesome display from Froch, one if the best I've seen. The referee should be investigated though, a champion should always be allowed a chance to see I'd they can get back into fight, but it was clear Bute was in big trouble by end of 4th. The ref then allowed 3-4 more punches then he should from Froch, then he gave a ridiculous standing count. Thankfully the corner knew their guy was gone and saved him. |

i had a couple of bets on froch. i was thinking a tough points win but his tactics were superb. I know all the criticisms of him. not technically sound, clumsy attacking style, defensively weak are all true but when it comes to heart and being a real fighting man you cannot fault him. he is a glorious throwback to the days when real fighters fought everyone if they had any inkling of being taken seriously. _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.
