When the Fox first opened their tables where all dealer delt not like the others, they set a trend, they also started a library.
The Library has been removed, the reason given "We are a Casino not a Library"
Please put the books back as we are not a Casino but a Poker club. _________________ "Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an un-scrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." |

The fact that the Library has been replaced by the black jack tables would suggest otherwise. |

Although I didn't choose the use the library, I thought it was a nice touch and I was considering using it during the breaks.
If they are already taking the "we are a casino" attitude, I will be very disappointed as this is the reason I stopped playing at the Empire. _________________

The blackjack tables and roulette tables were the start of the decline sadly. Now I hear the rake is pretty high compared to others and with the poor food and service it's only looking good due to location.
Shame as I liked it there at first and played a hell of a lot. _________________ Nobody likes Grasses |

i think you need to go back there then and see for yourself, the roulette machine asaik has always been there and the blackjack you wouldnt even notice it. as for the food quality and service, your wrong the food is fantastic and the service was poor i admit but once i spoke to the right person i was comp'd my food after they went to the effort of firing up the kitchen just for my burger and chips, waitress service was scarce but it was exeptionally busy the night i was there. _________________ "There's not enough hippies to save our lives, We need more hippies" |

I have been back and talk to many REGULARS and frequent other forums where the consensus is the same. The Food is fantastic? You had a burger and chips? Probably not the first person I'd ask for a review then.
Along with your anything Genting does is amazing fanboy attitude.
Praise where praise is due and when it first opened Fox was just what the central London scene needed, sadly it seems that the Casino side will kill it off within a year or two to the casual poker player in London.
Players need to and are from all accounts voting with their feet in the cash games. _________________ Nobody likes Grasses |

POW!
Personally I like the club, always a cash game running at my preferred stakes (£1/£1) and the dealers are good. Drinks are bloody expensive but that's standard for central London. I'd like to see a lager on tap though! |

The 110 restaurant at Genting (formerly Circus) Liverpool was/is superb, presume this hasn't changed since changing hands. |
