I know there are a couple of fans on here. Been hearing stories that they're in a pretty bad way and could be on the brink. Any truth in this or just scaremongering?

SISU, the owners who are venture captalists, have been holding out to get a return on their money. Gary Hoffmann and his group have been offering to take over the club but don't want to pay for it. Bryan Richardson who was the one who put the club in huge debt to start with is offering to help.
As SISU don't own the stadium and have mortgaged the training ground already, liquidating the club wouldn't touch the sides of the debt. I suspect the Labour council would be a bit more flexible on the rent towards new owners. |
