Hi all
One of the places I go to play poker introduced a new format for their league
It's been running now since September, finishing just after Xmas
Just £15 a game of which £12 is that nights prize pool, £2 towards the final of the league game, and £1 for the house
Is that house payment legal within the confines of a social/snooker club?
And if not, what would happen if the authorities knew about it? _________________ "Anyone for Jazz?"~ 2 Sticks |

At a quick glance, the maximum allowed is £10/game, and a £1 per day house charge.
Have a read of this.

Blimey reg you must spend a fortune on beer.
I played in a pub game last night, it was £5 buy in which goes to the prizepool, £5 for a side pot for them that wants it, and £2 for extra chips which goes in the prizepool and £1 for a blackout card that gives you extra chips if you win and pays for the food that the pub do.
I lost 'cos the pool team needed me for a match and I had to run back to my pub and play and got almost blinded out. Still a great night though. |

Last 11 tournaments I've played I've won 9 of em, will never last
Reckon I spend about £200 a week on beer, only have about 12 a night, and one for the road just afore I'm leaving _________________ "Anyone for Jazz?"~ 2 Sticks |
