Surely this year City will win a trophy. I will take the Carling or Europa cup and a top 4 finish and I will be happy.

Can anybody explain to me why David Silva has been left out of City's squad for the Europa League playoff next week?
They have named a 23 man squad, leaving 2 empty spaces presumably for signings they expect to make, just can't understand why Silva isn't in the 23. |

He isn't fit apparently and if they reach the group stages they are allowed to swap one player - presumably Michael Johnson or Shaleum Logan for Silva.
Bellamy and Ireland have clearly been left out as they are being shipped out. |

Actually makes a nice change seeing the league being shaken up a bit. I think theve a great chance of a trophy this year .If not its happy days ahead for the furure.
If things dont start off well in the first 4 or 5 weeks though you could see the 1st managerial casualty of the season though and maybe the wheels come off. _________________ Finally things will start clicking…your elbows, knees and back! |

He has the potential to be top 5 in the world imo, bags of talent, might be the best signing of the summer. _________________ Is this your homework Larry?

| Attitude problems. I can see City being a team of prima donnas and Mancini being out of his depth. |

top one. I can see him becoming the number one striker in the world.
as for now I say city now have enough for a top 4 place. I seen them as title contenders now tbh. |

Echo that aboput SWP, we were only guessing that Johnson didn't start having played for England but he was miles better than SWP when he came on. Only 3 new players in the team and one was injured early on so not much to be read in to the money spent so far, but lost home and away to Spurs last season so we are getting better. We had 61% possesion but did nothing with it. |

Apparently Rangers are getting Weiss on a season long loan. Good player? _________________ Nil Satis Nisi Optimum |

| Weiss in the SPL would be fantastic. Imagine Kyle Lafferty striding down the wing. The opposite of that. |

If he scores 10 goals this season he would of performed miracles. As for beccoming the best striker in the world i mean seriously. Really had anyone heard of him before he had his 5 minutes of sky sports news time ?
Is james milner going to become the best midfielder in the world now ? _________________ Finally things will start clicking…your elbows, knees and back! |

| I think the term becoming means at some point in the future rather than becoming it this season. |

The rare glimpses he gave at Bolton last season, would suggets a great signing. |
