We're about to start
Players will be sitting down to blinds of 800/1600 with a 200 ante. Tables will be nine handed so there will be 4200 in the pot before a card is dealt. We can expect to see some of the smaller stacks having to get it all in pretty early on.

Eglintine on rollercoaster
Lynne Beaumont moved all-in for 21300 from the cut-off. It was folded to big blind Carl Eglintine who called with J J , which was racing against Beaumont's A K . The first two cards out were K K followed by T 8 3 . Beaumont doubled up and left Eglintine crippled on 4600.
It was folded to him in the small blind on the next hand and he made the obligatory all-in move with his microstack. Big blind Stuart Brownson called without looking. A 6 for Eglintine, K 5 for Brownson. The board ran out 9 7 4 2 3 and Eglintine more than doubled up (thanks to the antes) with the nut flush.
On the next hand he moved all-in for 10200 and this time had enough chips to pick up the blinds uncontested.

Brownson out
Stuart Brownson has just been eliminated at the hands of Peter Ioannou. Brownson might have thought that the jack high board was not too threatening for his second pair holding 8 5 but Ioannou had made the nut straight on the turn and Brownson was drawing dead on the river.
Ioannou scoops in the chips and lets out the familiar "Bowm chicka wow wow" refrain that we have heard regularly over the past couple of days. |

Phen - Out
Chip leader Zachary Ford and H Phen (on the button) both see a flop of 4 3 10:diamond:, after a couple of big pre-flop bets.
Fords bets out 30,000 then Phen moves all-in for the rest of his chips.
After some thinking, Ford makes the call and Phen turns over pocket 6's
A shocked Ford tables K 10 and the dealer deals the turn and river.
7 9
Phen is eliminated from the tournament and the chip leader gains another 63700.

"Skullman" claims his first scalp
Anthony Kevan raised to 4000 on the button and "Skullman" Gerald David moved all-in. Kevan was covered and called for his remaining 20000 with Q 8 . He needed help as the "Skullman" had overcards: A K . A flop of T 7 6 was unhelpful to Kevan and the A on the turn was even more so. The irrelevant river was the 6 and Kevan hit the rail.

Eglintine in action again
All the action seems to be coming from table 3 at the moment. Carl Eglintine has been involved again, getting his trip aces paid by Ioannou's pocket 7s and Eglintine is back up to around 28,000. |

Hunt down
With around 20k left, Gregory Hunt got it all-in with KTo against "Skullman" Gerald David's A6s. The board fell A-8-6-4-2 and Hunt hit the rail. "Skullman" is amassing a huge pile of chips.

Nice surprise for Abolins
On table 2 Luke Abolins doesn't look very happy when his all in bet is called by Harry Zammit on a flop of 8 3 2
Abolins gives a little grimace as he turns over his 4 4 thinking that he probably only has two outs but is pleasantly surprised to find that Zammit has just 10:spade: Q
Abolins doubles up. |

Mel Lofthouse eliminated
A big pot brewing on table 1. Pav Heer bet 4000 into a similarly sized pot with the board reading K K 8 T and Mel Lofthouse raised all-in for around 25000 more. Heer thought long and hard before calling with K J . Lofthouse wondered what took him so long as she tabled 4 4 . Caught red handed! She had two outs on the river and 6 was not one of them.

Christopher Brice - Out
After a raise in late position of 11,200 by "Skullman" Gerald David, Christopher Brice moves all in on the small-blind for 56,000 total.
"Skullman" makes the call and shows pocket 9's while Brice tables AJ
No help on the board of 9 2 3 9 9 for Brice means that he's knocked out in 43'rd place.
The blinds increase to 1000/2000 with an ante of 200 in 14mins.

Bad beat for Manson
Caroline Manson has been knocked out by Ben Chisholm. She was in good shape with pocket queens against king-queen but he made a diamond flush to send her packing.

All in again on table 3
Richard Cole is all in pre-flop and has been called by Carl Eglintine. Peter Ioannou is also giving it some thought but eventually he passes.
Cole has 9 9 whilst Eglintine has J J
6 6 6 3 4 make no difference and Cole is eliminated.

Chip leaders
Our two biggest stacks are currently sat next to one another at table 5. Zachary Ford is a little above the 200k mark whilst Gerald David is also looking good at above 150k
