Ok this is from the $3.30 satuday micro on stars, just in the money with 1000ish runners left, the utg raiser had raised half of the last 10 hands and no one was fighting back.
My plan with no other callers (apart from BB) was to take it away on any half scarey looking flops.
Should i just shove it in pre flop with my stack size?
Should i ever fold based on stacks and stats on raiser?
I assume im right to shove on the flop?
I am a bit of a pleb and i seem to min cash alot in MTTs on stars and i think these are the sort of hands that are costing me?
P.S I know i shouldnt get so short stacked in 1st place just took a couple of bad beats

I usually always mini cash, and these are the situations I get into. So if it was me....CALL!! Huge pot to take with so many outs, and that gamble will take you a long way.
But don't take my advice as it's probably wrong lol.
Been working on the situation by trying not to get into large pots like that with players who can take me out, If I can still survive the loss then I take the gamble, if not then I wait until I know they are weak to have stab at it.
Plus depends how many BB you have, if it's like 10-17 or so then I still take the risk.
Pre-flop I fold that hand all day. Bound to get better to attack him with sooner or later. _________________ stejens

As played you have to jam the flop...
Calling pre is pretty horrible with your stack size tho... Much prefer jamming or folding with that stack size... In this situation I prefer folding more often than not though jamming is acceptable sometimes...

+1
Except I lean a bit more heavily towards jamming than folding, given the UTG's history.

Allin preflop.....as you've said, the utg player has raised 5 out of 10 previous hands, and you're probably ahead of him. There's 3600 in the middle and with your short stack it's allin or all out....and I'm allin. Calling just invites the blinds to come into the pot for value.

Definite shove! Would have driven out the small blinds drawing hand and called or not by the initial raiser you take down a decent pot. Because of his aggressive image A7 on the button is well within the range I'd be looking to jam it with. If you come up against a better hand its just unfortunate that you took a stand at the wrong time.
