How many teams are 'european' these days? Seems there won't be a need for qualifying groups if the let any more into the finals. _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

Why the hell do they have to do it.................we already know that manipulation of television and the tabloid press to create more impact goes on every single day for financial gain......but doing it in football
Just seen the news that TV footage of certain events in the Euro's was manipulated for dramatic effect by being shown...... but not at the original recording time. I thought it was a bit strange why that German woman was crying after Balotelli made it 2-0 with most of the game still to play......turns out that this footage was recorded during the anthems pre-match and then shown after the score was 2-0.
Also, if you watched the Germany vs Holland group game with the German manager Joachim Loew when he crept up on the ball boy on the touchline and knocked the ball out from underneath his arm while he wasn't looking was actually recorded pre-match. Intsead it looks like he hasn't got a care in the world during a crucial group fixture.
Why do they have to jazz footage up like this.....same with zooming in on young attractive women all the time.....please done't tell me that football is going all reality TV
Actually......I know why they do it but sport is engaging enough for those that follow it without this and the game isnt going to die out if we stop zooming in on cleavage. |

| I remember MOTD showing a blackburn player getting sent off before we had scored, asking if it affected the game, we were 2-0 up at the time ffs. The BBC sent a stock mail to everyone who queried it. |

Match of the day once showed Robbie Fowler coming on as sub, then cut to a shot of the manager on the bench, where Fowler was still sat in the back row.
It's called b-roll, the crowd shots, manager shots, old player in the stand shots, all to provide 'colour' to be edited in later to provide a narrative, and balance out the production. It's not usually time stamp crucial, so the manager with his head in his hands when the third goal was conceded may have been shot when the second goal went in. _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

Weren't Mexico and USA in the top 10 at one point? Then they changed the structure so volume didn't have such a big effect. Brazil have been terrible lately, England are the only major aberration in that list. |

Fair to say that 1 and 2 seem accurate but as for the rest........Brazil at 11th is surprising. I know they have slipped a bit in recent seasons but they will take some stopping in 2014. |
