If he didn't 'accept' that he was all-in, why in all his subsequent actions did he behave as if he was all-in? That's what I see as 'accepted action'.

I don't believe there was angle-shooting etc. After reading loads and watching the pokernews interviews of all involved, seems like emotions were so high that sense was thrown out the window.

I also think a ruling of the pot/pot not the all-in would be acceptable as Badge previously said. But I think it would be a travesty if the board was altered.

And fairplay for Deeb acknowledging there could've been other rulings but he was happy with this one because he won. Cool

No, of course not Badge.

However if in a pot limit game players BOTH or ALL push their stacks in it can be 'accepted' that they have made sufficient raises until all the chips are in the pot. Hence 'accepted action' not accepted rule change.

By all the chips being in the middle AND players tabling all hands it is accepted that this has happened and they are all-in.

My opinion anyway.

I agree with Joe. If you shove all your chips in, and i call, the assumption should be that you have both agreed to raise / rereaise pot until this is the outcome.

Yes but never at 1 point did Nikolai Yakovenko shove all his chips in, according to the video interview his chips were in the middle only cos the dealer pushed them in to count his chip stack

Possibly true, but why then did he table his hand , leave all his chips in the middle of the table and say nothing when the dealer dealt flop, turn and river?

Had he said nothing but kept his hand protected and face down he may have a point but that is not what happened.

i think the final decision was fair. i mean why would you turn your hand up if you did not think you were all in?
