With the Olympics taking place in July, we’ve got a great competition to challenge Genting Poker players through the month.

Can you claim the Gold Medal in our Speed Poker 24 Hour Challenge?

The player who can play the most Speed Poker hands in a single day throughout July will win a £1000 Genting Poker Series Main Event Seat Package and a Gold Medal!

Silver Medal position wins a £430 Genting Poker Series Main Event Seat

Bronze Medal position wins a £430 Genting Poker Series Main Event Seat as a 50/50 Sponsored player.

The 7 next highest scores will win a £55 GPS Seat Super Sat Seat!

All you have to do is play real money Speed Poker with Genting Poker.

Every day we will update our blog with:

- The Top 10 players ranked by the number of hands played.
- The current Top 10 for the month to date.
- So every day you have a chance to beat the high score!
- At the end of July the player with the highest score wins!

So if on Day 1 “FastFingerFred” plays the most hands with 627, he might stay in the Gold Medal position for 5 or 6 days until someone can beat it. It could be that on the 31st July a player comes in and beats the high score that has stood for the whole month! The fickle Fastest Finger of fate has strange ways…..

Terms and Conditions
- This is a fun competition, any players we find to be cheating, using banned substances or abusing the olympic spirit of this promotion will be excluded.
- The competition runs from 00:00:00 (midnight) on 1st July 2012 to 23:59:59 on 31st July 2012
- A ‘Day’ is defined as 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 on any date in July 2012
- Scores will be published on this page (GentingPoker.com), Facebook (Gabrielle Genting), - Twitter (@GPSeries), The Hendon Mob, A World of Poker
- Gold - The GPS £1000 Package consists of Seat (£430 token so winner can register online), Hotel (approx £300) and the balance in Spending money paid into their poker account
- Gold – The Gold Medal won’t actually be made out of Gold. It will be made out of something that looks like Gold, but it definitely won’t be actual Gold.
- Silver – The GPS £430 Main Event seat will be paid by way of token so winner can register online.
- Bronze - The GPS £430 Main Event seat will be paid by way of token so winner can register online, 50% of any prize money won by the player in that GPS Main Event will be withheld.
- All GPS Main Event Seat winners, will be eligible for the £1600 Grand Final Last Longest if they use their token in Stoke Leg 4
- A player can only win 1 prize, so in the event of the same player finishing more than once in the Top 10, their lower score will be removed and other players will move up.
- We reserve the right to alter this promotion in any way we see fit, and our decision is final

Given the choice of n-tabling for 24 hours or writing a breakeven bot for a shot at a £1000 prize, 'hassle' would be exactly what decided it for me. Especially as you can try both.
