Surprised there was no thread yet, just watched Nadal's defeat to Rosol who was absolutely awesome, I'm not a huge follower of tennis but love Wimbledon, this now has to give Murray a huge chance of making the final at least?
Maria for me all day long in the ladies! |

yeah I nearly started one earlier but never got round to it, imo this is probably Murray's best chance to win Wimbledon now, he's got a pretty clear path to the semi's atleast (im not saying all the guys he plays are easy but Murray should beat them in 4 sets at worst), I think Tsonga is in Murray's half and that is going to be a tough match but he should get thru it, then its just a matter of beating Djokovic or Federer which I think with a little bit of look he could do!
I think a shout out to the brits that made round 2 is in order, James Ward espc really gutted for him he didn't beat fish today
GL to Heather Watson too _________________ #whenwillitend |

It's great chance for Murray, he should at least make the final, but he'll probably f**k it up in an earlier round now the chance is there. Tomorrows opponent is no pushover, I believe it's 3-3 between them.
Hope he makes it though. _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

| Remember that time when it was a great chance for Murray and he lost the semi to Roddick? He doesn't like great chances. |

| Has anyone tried to get tickets via the ballot before? I have tried a few times but no luck. |

Got them on my first attempt, (via a subscription to 'serve & volley' magazine, the LTA's own mag) then nothing for the next six years. I got the old No.1 court, it was quite an enjoyable day out, and the magazine had it's own special tent where you could also book lunch, which made things better. _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

No, but we used to go down after work and get the cheap evening tickets - they're good value (used to be a tenner)... you still get to see some big names on the main courts _________________ Not surprised Xavi's been replaced. His pass completion rate was only 89%. Useless. |

A friend of mine asked a few years ago, if we weren't going to apply, if we would so it increased his chances of getting a ticket. One of the guys got Men's Final tickets...
What would you do ?! |

Cheers for ideas, will give it a go next year. I used to get corporate tickets, but now have to try to buy my own. |
