Unlikely given the Mints capacity! _________________ Not surprised Xavi's been replaced. His pass completion rate was only 89%. Useless. |

I just don't like AQ v 2 allins......
What would be worse calling and BB shows AA and button shows QQ..... or folding and BB shows AJ and button shows J10? |
For completeness of analysis and sheer involvement in the thread AndyH1964 wins the £75 in tournament tokens. PM me your full name Andy and the tokens will be at the Mint for you.
The £70+£5 Tournament runs every Friday and has a £2,000 Guarantee. It'd expect there to be an overlay tonight what with the England match on so if you want some value get down there. 8:30pm start, late reg available. |

Oh... and in the scenario posted the player called and was up against Jacks and Kings. With a Jack-high board and no ace he came last but still managed to make the final table and cash.
Personally I call here on the basis that I would expect...
a) A lot of the time I am up against two pocket pairs
b) I can be up against a pocket pair and dominating an ace
c) Losing doesn't send me out of the tournament and I need to win every chip in play eventually
But then... I really don't need an excuse to get my chips in as anyone who has played with me knows |
