So but then on the turn- do you fold or just flat call? I actually thought by shoving I had fold equity which I can see now is another mistake- even though I definitely didn't think he had top set.
I just fold the turn unless my 7 or 9 is actually a 10. Then I shove. Which is probably also "bad". But fun. _________________ Not surprised Xavi's been replaced. His pass completion rate was only 89%. Useless.

I don't like to raise pre-flop here as double suited but not that connected. I could esily be wrong though as I am only learning too.
I don't like the raise on the flop as you only have a nut draw with nothing else going on.
Why would you want to scare out possible extra value from a non-nut flush draw that hits later too?
On the turn I fold (even assuming the bets on turn are for effective stacks), you just don't have the odds here.
The lesson in this hand is there is a big difference between a naked nut flush draw and a draw with other things going on too (either partially made hand or combo draw). _________________ "Brandon Uhl @BrandonUhl
