Yo...
quick Question....
my friend is split up with his wife. Her parents are polish but live in england for many years i met them 15 yrs ago and she was born there etc so have been there a while.
My friend is a black guy so the kids are mixed race
she wants to take the kids to Poland for a holiday not sure what part.
My friend is worried as he saw a panorama programme etc and says that they seem to be racist to black people/kids etc and thinks his kids 7yrs and 4yrs old might get hassled etc while over there
any input pls?
my initial response to him was Poland is a lovely country etc and it would be like any other country in the world rough parts and nice parts etc
but i aint clued up on the racist bits over there
thanks |

ive been to Krakov and tbh i didnt really see much in the way of racism but the vast majority of graffiti that we asked our taxi driver about seemed to be race related, I think that racism is no more a problem there than any other country i think its just highlighted by the press more. especially atm.
This makes quite good reading. http://www.stiftung-evz.de/w/files/ha...sinki_english.pdf _________________ "There's not enough hippies to save our lives, We need more hippies" |
