Just to add although I know your dig wasn't at me, I was a season ticket holder for about 17/18 years before hand before I get labelled as a full part timer |

Although well done for correct use of "two", I think, because I can barely make any sense of your post |

For those that don't know already the final is on this Saturday at 17:15. Think it is planned this way to keep the viewing figures down. |

5.15 KO is a fcukin disgrace, anyway evens both teams to score must be one of the safest bets of the year? As is the rs to win on pens. |

I don't like the FA Cup final at 5.15 either.......some things need to continue out of tradition. It isn't about opposing change but there is a need for tradition to continue as it is what constitutes our national identity. _________________ Poker columnist at www.poker.co.uk |

| Although tradition is important, I just think many neutrals like me will have plans for a Saturday evening so won't be watching it and some may be able to see the first half etc whereas 3pm is spot on for most fans to watch and still be able to go out later. |

Are goals really that certain?
I took some coral offers to bet on 0-0: £100 @ 7/1, refunded if the first goal is in injury time or if Torres scores last, with the £30 sign-up bet on Chelsea refunding £42 if they win in 90.
I'm not saying its the most likely outcome, but I thought I liked a little better than 7/1 when Barcelona couldn't score against Chelsea? _________________ http://www.alexbowler.com |

| I'm almost certain both teams will score in this game, the Torres safety net is quite a nice one for your bet though Alex, good luck mate |

Totally accept that the game has to evolve and move forward but wheres the gain of a 5.15KO for anyone?..its purely financial at the expense of tradition
White horse on the pitch, Big Daddy v Giant Haystacks, Jimmy Melia, kids in the park jumpers as goalposts, Ricky Villa weaving through 26 sky blue shirts to send an 11 year old ecstaticly into tears of joy. Being made to be quiet by my Dad during abide with me and not understanding why but totally understanding now.
Now a 5.15 KO on ESPN...call me nostalgic but for me its all a bit sad _________________ never chop wood in a rubber dinghy |

Well played Chelsea, took advantage of our midfield sloppiness. There were moments of drama, shame we didn't turn-up until we were 2-0 down.
Where has that Andy Carroll been all season? |

Know what you mean about Andy Carroll, when the commentator was clamouring for him to come on after 20 mins, I was telling the missus he clearly hasn't seen him play all season. That subsitute appearance was comfortably his best performance of the year, even though he missed a sitter with the header (great save from Cech, but shouldn't of given him the chance), at least he gave the Chelsea defence a lot of problems.
I hope this doesn't sound like this is sour grapes (because it is not my intention), but I don't think Chelsea played well at all, I thought they were organised in the first half and benefitted from poor defensive lapses by LFC. Never did I think they were playing that well at any stage and for the first hour, they were playing against a team who were just so slow in their passing and approach, it was so easy for them.
A better performance by Chelsea in the first hour could of put the game beyond LFC. In the last 30 mins, it was a decent attempt by LFC to get the game to extra time and were a touch unlucky IMO.
Obviously over the balance of the 90 mins, LFC didn't do enough to say that they deserved a positive result and I think there will be a lot of regrets tonight, as that was a game they could and should of done better in. |
