I agree with everyone that says take a break, I was a furious tilt monster, it wasn't so much a leak, rather a huge iceberg in the side of my titanic fail of a game.
I recently took six months out of poker and readjusted how I looked at the game. I started eating better, exercising and reading poker literature and for the first time in about 3 years, I can say that I am a winning player again.
Good luck, I really know what it feels like to have your game dominated by tilt and when you look at it from the outside in, you'll find it hard to believe you ever invested so much emotion on it all. _________________ @ryanpb |

| Quote: | i can't believe how hard it can be to make a profit playing poker my average stake is $3 and i've won £5.809.19 in 11 months
and my profit well +£60 LMAO i've won and just kept playing through the tilt
my last major tilt session i thought it was a good idea to play 2 $109 9 seater games, which i got bust on after getting donked on 1 finishing 4th i went mad and played my first $50, 9 seater 2 mins later,i just kept saying to myself i'm better than these luckily i managed to win in 1st busting 6 players but just breaking even from the 2 $109 games.

If your average stake is $3 why go and play $50 and $109 games?! Think taking a break is great advise but if your on a losing streak think its probably better to reduce stakes. |

Maybe two years ago the advice to take a long break was the in thing.
In todays world if you need to take a break it should be for a couple of hours just to sort your head out.
I still tilt at times so I leave the table when playing online.
Do the same playing live walk away from table get head together and resume playing.
Remember If you take a long break and come back the Cards will still be the same. _________________ "Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an un-scrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." |
