Not been to Aspers there, but been to Westfield, easy transport or parking if needed. Loads of restaurants and cheaper options and of course loads of shops (somewhere to spend your winnings) good luck. |

I had heard a lot of negative things when the cardroom first opened and the legendary tale of someone managing to cash out Tourney Chips when it was all sparkly and new,
I went a few weeks back for a friends Birthday and all the horror stories proved to be unfounded on my trip - staff superb, fair few agency dealers that people will know from other clubs are covering shifts there - very helpful Card Room Management and a very nice spacious cardroom - toilet is not next to teh cardroom but the smoking area practically is.
Roulette and B/Jack junkies can get their fix - fast and furious and the slot machines were busy.
Tea in the cardroom is 50p not the mythical £1.80 and service was quick and polite - Have to say give it a go and am sure you will not be disappointed - the feeling of space and feet on nice soft new carpet was akin to a luxury 4* Hotel.
The 1/1 Table was great fun and the locals were friendly.
I think This is a great place to hold BBP East End Live, so much so that we are Running Live Satellites Every Monday to BBP - East End Live.
We all know that BBP East End Live @Stratford will sell out and so advse you all to start registering now and avoid the usual last minute begging to be added posts that always happen when people delay too long and then miss out.
You can find Details of our Live Monday Satellites @ just £10+3 T10 K Games @ B'The Hurricane Kings Cross on http://www.LondonPubpOker.co.uk or via our Facebook Page http://www.Low stakes.
Our aim is to run 15 Seater Sit N Go's Every Monday Live between now and the event selling out.
With BBP Guaranteeing $75,000 Prizepol and a 45 min Clock maybe even I will last level 1 - Get involved I would say |

Really tempted to squeeze this event in, especially since it's looking like decent overlay to be had.
Anyone know what time play is forecast to finish on the Saturday and roughly on the Sunday? |

By the looks of it Saturday will be full by tomorrow(9 places left) and Friday is creeping up.
Looks like there just might not be an overlay _________________ "Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an un-scrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." |

Day 1B is indeed Full (200 runners)
But they need 375 total to break even and the total currently stands at 268 which is 117 short - Reg closes for Day 1a via their site on Thursday so maybe an overlay yet
Either way for players, it will be a fantastic tourney but if I were Mr Channing, I would not be sewing up the PJ Pockets just yet |

Still very much sweating the overlay. At the moment we only have Friday (day 1a) seats available, but we are in the process of getting iPoker to add some more day 1b seats to the lobby.
At the moment if you want to play Saturday my best suggestion is to buy a Friday seat and then swap it for a Saturday as and when one pops up. Four times today someone has unregistered and a seat has appeared for a few minutes. You need the old "fastest finger first" to snap them up. |

| Neil, can you please confirm what time play will cease on the day 1s please? Is there any chance that play would be extende on the night if, for example, not enough people have been eliminated? |

I can't really confirm I'm afraid. It rather depends on how many tickets we sell today. If we get a massively different nu,ber for Day 1a to Day 1b we have to be careful that we don't reach the money too quickly.
My hope would be that we finish before midnight so that people can get tubes, but it may be earlier if the day 1 a gets say 140 players while day 1b has 225.
On the flip side I wouldn't want to bring lots more people than are going to cash back on Sunday.
How much easier my life would have been if all the people buying in yesterday and today had done it just three days ago. |

Just to stress the obvious - we will play exactly the same amount of time on both day 1s.
Feel free to buy-in for either day by the way guys - we have 95 left for day 1a and 9 for day 1b |

Its 225 for day 1b filled.
Day 1a 108 where sent for the Gathering.
34 more have registered since.
So looks like no overlay... total to date 367.
Day 1a closes at 12 midnight. _________________ "Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an un-scrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." |
