Important Annoucement re Fox GPS Main Event - Day 1C Almost Sold Out
The Fox Poker Club GPS £400+£30 buyin has three day 1's. Weds 28th, Thurs 29th and Fri 30th March.
There are very few seats left for the Friday. if you want to play Friday it is suggested you sign up now or may may find that it is locked out and only 1a and 1b are available.
You can buy in at the club or you can buy in online. To buyin online...
- Download the software here: http://www.thehendonmob.com/genting/
- Make sure you use coupon code 'MOB'
- deposit at least £430
- Go to the 'Genting Poker Series' tab in the left hand menu
- Click on 'GPS Fox Poker Club' in the left hand menu
- Choose 'GPS Fox Poker Club 1C' - Click register
(the number of players you see signed up here is only the players signed up through the client and does not necessarily include sign ups at the club or satellite/ other winners)

Day 1C online says 30 reg'd with a maximum of 500? i assume they are not adding the reg's from the club to this, it makes it look very confusing for online people who are regging could genting not add these together so its not confusing for onliners?

is it true that if the days fill you will be playing some tables at the Palm Beach and then ferrying players from their to the fox?

Depends on numbers, if we get huge demand on Day 1C (the day when huge demand is likely to outstrip capacity) we will of course look at how we can accomodate more players. Palm Beach is an option. It doesn't phase us, as we have several people who ran the WSOPE in London in the early days when the Day 1s were split over 3 venues!
Nothing is confirmed yet though, we are being flexible. |

Jon for clarity - we cannot merge the two sets of numbers together into one easily acessible list. Too many databases and not enough database monkeys.... |

Other way about.
If its over subscribed Lots will be drawn at the Fox and the surplus will then play at Palm.

As Waldorf says, nothing has been decided or announced regarding overflow yet so don't count your chickens before they hatch. There are options and if it does happen you can be sure it will be a random draw and everything will be done in the best interest of the game and fairness.
Personally I don't think it would make much difference to me where I play, i'll still donk off my chips on a semi-bluff  . If it means more money in the prizepool it's got to be good. I've got to admit I'm dead excited about next week especially with the way the registrations are piling in! |

some of us are travelling along way for this event & have booked hotels & parking close to the fox club...it seems unfair that those who have bought in early to avoid
a) not getting a seat
and
b) hauling ass across london to a different venue,
should then be entered into a random draw to see if you can play in the original venue or not.
seems fairer that players who fall outside the original cap should be ones who have to relocate should that situation arise.
standard alternate procedure no? |

i dont think this will cause any great problems and knowing Nick and Gary its gonna be a cracking smoothly run event.

Not sure I agree with this increasing cap stuff. If it goes up when more poeple want to buy in, it's not really a cap, is it?
