Who will win the gold cup?
I'm thinking about backing Long Run but I almost feel like I'm cheating on Kauto _________________ @ryanpb |

Exactly. Me and the lads have won so much money from Kauto we have to back him. We are rolling the £300 we won on Sprinter Sacre onto him.
Come on Kauto! _________________ @oneshotbobby on twitter |

I love Kauto but Long Run outstays him up the hill even with his 7lb penalty (Sam Waley-Cohen) |

I don't think this is in doubt but that's exactly what gives me hope that Kauto can win this. I think Waley-Cohen (from what I've read) is TOO confident that the hill will be Kautos undoing and may not be close enough when they get to that stage. (I've run up that hill, along the course and it is a bitch though! The police weren't happy..)
It may be wishful thinking but I think at the prices that they will go off even if it weren't that Kauto is my favourite and most profitable horse of all time I still wouldn't back Long Run. _________________ Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day. |

I completely agree and would love Kauto to win but with Hendeson flying and Nicholls a bit out of form I can't see anything but Long Run. 2/1 plus in the morning would be a very good price |

Just what the bookies want, people getting all emotional over a horse.
FWIW I'm a great Kauto fan, but all this stuff in the last week has put me off big time.
Might just be one to watch and enjoy.
Anyone else read about the stable hand who had the 5 timer on Hendersons winners and won over a million??? _________________ Nobody likes Grasses |

| Well I've laid one of my associates a chunk @ 7/4 Long Run, I reckon a shock is in the post, not sure what variety though, Weird Al or Time for Rupert, may go back to betfair and lay LR/KS in all markets. Kauto's last race imo. |

Definitely if he wins.
If the crowd could be the 12th man like football he would win. _________________ because you very very retardo i lose |

Sigh, this was my bet. What an awful day. Weird Al was never at the races so to speak and I actually cried when Kauto was pulled up. Well, before as it was obvious it was happening.
I didn't back Kauto today as him winning would have been worth more than any amount of money I could afford to gamble (very little!).
Enjoy the retirement. The life of a retired top class race horse is a life anyone can envy. _________________ Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day. |
