I oh so nearly posted "don't fancy this one" @ lunchtime, but decided not to jinx it. That worked out for the best _________________ Not surprised Xavi's been replaced. His pass completion rate was only 89%. Useless. |

Hi Dean
I don't know ! I've kept a record on this thread but have been more conscious of the running total than looking at the efficiency of my strategy. As I've mentioned before, this is more of a fun thing for me than a very serious attempt to make money.
The £1000 seed money was written off in my head and I'm looking at what I consider to be value transactions. With any gambling/investing (as you know) if you're finding an edge against a perceived outcome (the odds) then over the long term it will be +ev. This is me seeing if I can find an edge in Football betting but mostly it's for fun.
Today I've had 2 bets -
£150 on Heerenveen to beat Den Haag @ 5/6
£150 on Stuttgart +0.5AH v Hamburg @ 1.85 |

Have been away in Dubai for the last week and unable to access betting sites or the forum so a nice break !
Before I went away, I had £150 on Bologna to beat Novara @ 8/11 so current running total is £2,607.59
I can't count this but my £40 e/w on Darlan at 25/1 is due off today... Come on AP !!! |

Thanks mate - competitive race but JP said this morning that he thought 7/1 with Hills was "an interesting price" !! I was told early on that this was Henderson's best novice and he could be anything. Fingers crossed ! |
