Starting this Sarurday I'm depositing 20 euros on Betfair and will attempt to spin it up having ONE BET a week (Saturday) until the end of the season.
The bet will be ALL ON a 'sure thing' and I'll either do my 20 euros or I'll have a nice pile of cash come the middle of May
I'll post my bets up her so you can all follow my progress. Should be around 20 bets in total!
My rules:
1) Bets will be placed at odds of no MORE that EVENS.
2) Bets will USUALLY be on a Saturday football game (but not necessarly)
3) Bets will be posted up on this thread by midday on Saturday
4) The bet will always be for MY ENTIRE BANK ROLL!!
Should be a larf!!

thats assuming the bet is even money, Mark is saying he will alwyas be betting on 'sure things' which is likely to be random bet like fa cup Man Utd to beat accrington which is likely to be odds of 1/50 which means for his money he will end the 1st bet with £20.20p
if he takes 20 bets like this he will be lucky to end the run with £50.
If he sticks to his rule of betting 'sure things' he will never bet @ even money as this is not nearly 'sure' enough

your calculations are way off darren. if all bets are evens
stake £20
1 £60
2 £180
3 £540
etc etc as you should get your stake money back from a winning bet. Unless its differnt online

I think that 1/50 will be a bit excessive but I'll bet between 1/5 and evens.
If anyone can work a bet out based on a 1/2 'average' then that result would be the most likely outcome...after all its ONLY 20 bets!!
