“They were questioned for 30 minutes to get their details and by the end both were frightened. Balotelli said he was sorry.
“They said they had seen the gate was open, and went in without knowing that you need special permission to visit a jail.
“They added they were specially curious at the fact it was a women’s prison.”

Sophie Reade has revealed how her footballer boyfriend Mario Balotelli cheated on her with her best friend on New Year’s Eve.
The 21-year-old Big Brother winner has told how she was sat in the Manchester City star’s flat as he was sleeping with her friend Faye-Evette Betts just upstairs.
The friends had been enjoying a night out in Manchester to ring in the New Year when they returned to Sophie’s boyfriend’s penthouse flat in the city.
Speaking to the News Of The World she said: ‘I feel utterly betrayed by Mario. I really cared for him and he insisted he felt the same way about me. I would never normally date a footballer because they have such bad reputations. Mario seemed very different.’
Describing the events of the night the glamour model said: ‘We were in his downstairs bedroom when I noticed Mario and Faye weren't there.
‘I got suspicious because his friend seemed to be standing at the door as if to stop me coming out. I ran upstairs to the living room to look for Mario but he wasn't there.
Then I came down again to see Faye coming out of the other bedroom. I knew something had happened.’
‘I confronted him but then one of his friends came up to me and said, 'I think it's about time you left.' I was literally shoved out of the flat with no shoes on and left barefoot in a little black sequined party dress in the freezing foyer. It was 4am and I had to call my mum and ask her to pick me up. I was devastated.’
Sophie took to her Twitter page to blast Mario, who is now her ex, and her friend Faye.
She posted: ‘Would like to let everyone know @FayeEvette is a s*** and slept with the guy I was seeing! What a friend and welcome 2011.’
She added: ‘Mario Balotelli is a ****er!!’
The explicit comments have since been removed from Sophie’s Twitter page but she has posted several message about coming to terms with the breakup.
She posted to one well wisher: ‘Thank you!! I'm sorry to be depressing atm its just I have such low self esteem after everything that happened.’
The model, who has been previously linked to Dane Bowers, Gary Linekar’s son George and fellow Big Brother contestant Kris Donnelly, has revealed she is going under the knife again to increase her chest.
The playboy model posted: ‘Have a lil something to look forward to tomorrow, going for consultation about the girls going bigger...’
Her Manchester City ex, who moved to the club in a deal worth £24million last August, has had his own fair share of controversy.
He has clashed with football managers, been involved in scuffles with fellow players and crashed his powerful Audi R8 one morning in Manchester.
In an interview with Daily Mail’s Mark Ryan Mario Balotelli said: ‘I have heard that people are betting on how quickly I will end up in prison. Is this true? It’s all over the internet.’
The 20-year-old footballer, who has been linked to Melissa Castagnoli, a former Miss Italy contestant and a woman called Betty Kourakou, refused to talk about his private life during the interview.
He said: ‘I am a very, very private person,’ he emphasises. ‘I know some players like being the centre of attention and I admit that when I first became a player I liked fame, too. But that feeling lasted only for three months. Then I realised what it was really like to be the centre of attention all the time. It isn’t all good.
‘Of course, there are many advantages and I don’t want to sound ungrateful because I know I’m lucky. I know I have a responsibility as a role model to children and I try to fulfil that.’
