Playing at a well known casino last Tuesday in an £80 Freezout the following took place.
All pass to Button who raises,
Small Blind folds and in doing so one of his cards flips over face up and touches the Big Blinds cards which were well behind the line,
The Button raiser immediately calls for the Big Blinds hand to be declared dead.
The Button raiser was awarded the pot Is that fair ??

Nah thats BS.
If BB cards are easily identifiable (which they should be as the SB card is face up!) then play should continue, the action remains and it is upto BB. |

Total angle shoot from the button... pathetic, really.
Was this decision contested, or just let to stand? _________________ PS: Ulysses1975

The Floor was called and he upheld dealers decision!!
Big Blind acted the comp;lete Gentleman and accepted it and went on to finish 5th.
Unfortuneately the "Angle Shooter" finished higher |

Disgusting.
Care to mention which 'well known casino' this was at? If this is a decision upheld by the TD, they shouldn't have a problem with it being aired _________________ PS: Ulysses1975

| Happened to a mate of mine also. Player threw his mucked cards across the table and they touched his cards, another player in the pot said my mates hand was now dead, the ruling was upheld. |

Wish some players knew the rules. To be honest I dont think half of them are angle shoots these days more of a case of people not knowing the rules and using the old if I shout my case loud and long enough then they will agree with me.

On Thursday I had a player argue with me about the blinds going up (he was SB and I was BB) because he blinds 'were in' before the buzzer went. The dealer was still picking up the muck from the hand we just played. He begrudgingly put the extra chip in and then went on to say that he was right if it was a cash game.
I still don't know if he was joking or meant 'side game' when he said cash game. |

I'd expect the cards to be dealt with no fuss, if the blinds were in before the change... thought that was standard? _________________ PS: Ulysses1975

standard is that the first riffle of the shuffle denotes the beginning of the new hand. |

Whay are you arguing to increase the blinds? I would gladly try to keep them at the previous level if I am in them! |
