ok, so after cashing out some money from a betting tip that was posted on here a couple of days ago, I put the change onto two dogs in the 11:48 at Hall Green, Bag Bag Bangor, and Eight Acres, Bag Bag won, Eight Acres came 2nd, so I've got some money on there now.
what should i do with it?
I put a fiver on Peter Crouch to score first tonight @ 6/1, as they're doing a "if your bet doesn't score first but does score later in the game we'll refund your bet" thing.
so that leaves me £26.94
what would you put it on? I know nothing baout horses or dogs, but most other sports which I know a lot about I'm never that keen to put money on because with usually just two runners the odds never really seem worth it. are there good footie bets to be had that i'm missing? I'm not so much asking for "go put it on NobJockey's Delight in the 2.24 at Padstow", more an idea from those who do place bets on sport and events a fair bit, on what kind of things to look out for in terms of value, which sports work well, are doubles/triples a good idea, is "buying money" from a footie match that's likely to be very one sided worth it, that kinda thing. I'm clueless with how it all works
what sort of stuff would you put the £26.94 on? _________________ http://www.bisonpoker.com |

| I favour Ferrari to win at Montreal on Sunday. Just a feeling. 99to100 favourite at BetFair just now. |

| Red Sox 8/11 in a double with St Louis 4/5, pays around 2/1. |

Who is your account with mate?
The 1.50 at Lingfield won't take much winning for Lord Devart - 11/10
Ladbrokes are offering 16/1 for panesar to be man of the match in the test. I think this is good value on a spinning wicket. _________________ Wigan Warriors - salary cap cheats 2005,2006, 2007 |

it's with VC, I might have a look at the bits posted thus far then, not really fussed if I don't win as it's just come from me chucking some change on a couple of dogs that i knew nothing abotu and liked hte names of, which ended up winning. I like the Panesar bet a lot to be honest, I think the pitch is really likely to suit him, as are the batsmen he's facing _________________ http://www.bisonpoker.com |

well I just whacked a tenner on that horse, and a tenner on the St Louis/Red Sox double.
couldn't stick anything on Panesar, they only take bets on best batsmen, winning team etc, not man of the match _________________ http://www.bisonpoker.com |

And it's a seller. You have problems if you are betting on races like this |
It's only got to beat three donkeys and there is some decent money for it which means alot in these type of races. _________________ Wigan Warriors - salary cap cheats 2005,2006, 2007 |

Won cosily, eased down at the end. It had nothing to beat. _________________ Wigan Warriors - salary cap cheats 2005,2006, 2007 |

yeah, I have a fiver on Crouch for first scorer, and will get that money back if he isn't but still scores.
then i have a tenner on St Louis and the Red Sox to both win as a double.
that horse winning has now given me £29.44 in the account now so I need to find more stuff to chuck it on. Might just have a look at the Euro qualifiers tonight and make a few bets up from those with some doubles and stuff. _________________ http://www.bisonpoker.com |
