I am for the ban but I don't feel like applauding the government.
This has been debated ad finitum on this forum already but when I am drinking I don't expect anyone else to sup my dregs. When I am in a room full of smokers I am inhaling their smoke. |

Well, as I`ve said before I`m totally against this stupid ban.
I also read they want to start banning smoking while driving.
I for one will still smoke in pubs after July the 1st, my local landlord agrees with me on this point as he smokes 80 Rothmans a day.
I am actually driving down the village curry house in about 5 mins, I`ll order my vindaloo, rice and bhajis and I say "Make it 30 mins pal", then I`ll pop in the local for a quick 3-4 pints. I shall certainly have more words for the landlord then and see how he feels as the day is ever encroaching.
He told me a month ago that if any so called official walks into his boozer on July 2nd and tells him or us to put our fags out then the official "Will have his clipboard jammed up his bleedin` arris" (his words)

While we're on the subject of smoking - much kudos to the guys ( i think it was nemesis and cabsauv but could be missing some) who pointed me in the direction of Allen Carr's the easy way to stop smoking....
I never thought i'd make it - but i've given up now and things couldn't be better... |
