Hi

This is a 5000 ftp winner take all torny to play on the 8 player final table of the Poker Million and $1000000 1st prize (winner take all).

Thus $125000 in equity

I asked Full tilt:

Will the average equity contra any rakeback?

[e.g. $125000/300(est players)*.27 = $112.50(loss in rakeback)]

Full tilt said:

Unfortunately, we do not have access to any information regarding your personal rakeback account.

Please contact your affiliate directly for more information.

Can anyone help?

Robert?

cheers

I would have thought the answer is yes it will affect your rakeback. I know the ones I have done have affected rake.

Dose anyone know how much this is going to cost in loss of rakeback?

Plus I can see 2 or 3 forum regs registered for this, dose anyone want to swap 5% or 10%?

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately Rob is away for a long weekend break and may not see this until Tuesday and he is the person that best understands things like this but I'll do my best. If you need to ask Rob you can email him on Rob@thehendonmob.com

On Fulltiltpoker.com
Quote:
Any player who wins the top prize in the Poker Million - Last Chance tournament will win one (1) prize package consisting of a seat at the final table of Poker Million plus $2,000 for travel and expenses. The $2,000 will be deposited into the player's account.

The first prize is $1,000,000 but equity isn't just $1m/8 as 2nd to 8th get prize money too. I think they all get the same and I think it's either $60,000 or $80,000 so assuming the higher equity is nearer $195,000.

Their will be a loss of rakeback.
http://www.thehendonmob.com/full_tilt/rakeback_faq.html

If they (Full Tilt Poker) treat as a money added event then:
Quote:
Added money to tournaments comes off gross revenue based on the equity added per player, i.e. if $100 is added to a 100 player tournament, that counts as -$1 gross revenue if you take part (taking 27 cents off rakeback). This will show up in the Player Marketing and Retention Column.

So $195,000/ 300 (or however many there are) *.27 = $175.50

They may also add the $2,000 on so then $197k/ number of players *.27

I think this is most likely.

If they do it on points spent:
Quote:
Spending 1000 points in the FTP store removes $1.35 worth of rakeback (showing as $5 in the Administrative Costs column in Myrakeback). This is the same in the Black Card store but purchasing cash bonuses does not cost you directly, but your rakeback will be affected whilst clearing the bonus, the same as any other.

This obviously costs a lot less but I think it only counts points if spent in the store and not on tournaments.

Please, please note that I am not certain of any of this but this is my best guess.

Good luck and if you do win the seat in the final stay out of Barny's pots! Wink

Cheers,

Joe

I'll happily swap 5% with you for this.
I've got an unusually good feeling about this one.

Actually I think it is $90,000 not $80,000 but I'm not sure if that is the prize for winning the live heats or for finishing in 2nd through 8th in the final.

We do not know if the person who wins their way through to the final via this online satellite gets anything for 2nd through 8th.

Yeah when I was speaking to Howard Lederer (as you do lol) he said the online qualifier would just be playing for the million.

Does the online sat count as a heat?
