I'm going to Vegas at the end of March and have been looking at the Venetian daily tournies. All of the tournies mention a $5 or $10 staff bonus (see below example):

http://www.venetian.com/uploadedFiles...Room/Daily150.pdf

I don't understand what this is, are they just bonus chips you can be paying a few dollars more?

I think that is just a tip for the staff. So it's really $20 juice ($15 + $5)

BMI are stopping direct flights to Vegas at the end of April. Does that mean the only choice is Virgin from the UK?

Going to Vegas on Sunday had a few questions if anyone could help me out.
Staying in the MGM Signature, has anyone stayed there, is it good?

Which are the best low stakes tournaments to go to(the lower the better really)?
Where are the best places for $1/$2 cash games, how long can i expect to have to wait for a game, do they run most of the time?

Was fancying a trip to The Gun Store as I think shooting some targets will be fun, anyone been here? Do you just walk in and pay to shoot on the range?

Lastly, is there anywhere I should make sure I visit before I leave. Really dont want to come back and find somewhere I should have gone as it will most likely be a few years before i go back.

Thanks for any help you give me

That Gun Store looks cool - I might check it out.

I was last in Vegas in December (heading back on the 30th April)

Cash Games - The MGM Grand is always busy, but never too long a wait. The Strat had a nice cash game.

Tournaments - I played a nice $60? game at 9.00 am at the Monte Carlo and the Strat had cheap tournaments running.

If you want to do some cheap shopping there are a couple of discount centre, one past the airport and the other downtown. You can catch the bus on the strip to the airport one.

Any recommendations for a hotel where 'she who must be obeyed' can get a spa break type thing, (nails, massage, sauna, etc) whilst I do proper vegas stuff?

Looking at October for her 30th birthday treat.

Everywhere is soft. Not long. Yes. Try somewhere like the Wynn for nice surroundings, comps and a deep stacked game.

Yes you do. Buy some extra clips as most of the hire cost is the gun and you will run out quickly. Use the $5 voucher which you can pick up in the hotels or online.

Grand Canyon.

anyone stayed at Planet Hollywood since it opened?

Might be booking up vegas next week, was like 90% going to stay at the mgm or ti, but the site has a special offer at ph for the moment, and it seems better location than mgm. anyone with any input?

I realise its all personal preferene just was just wondering

PH is great, good location, cheapish etc. The only bad thing is the constant sales pitches of the staff for condos etc.

Expedia are runnning a refer a friend promo at the moment.

If you get referred you get a 20 discount providing that your email and credit acrd combo are not already registered with Expedia.

With this 20 discount, you can stay at most downtown hotels on virtually any night for under 5.

If you look hard enough you can also stay on the strip for under 5, it just depends on the day.

If you would like a discount code, just shoot me a PM. With different email and credit card combos, this promo can add up to some serious savings.
