it was to start with, you dont realise how much we take foods for granted.

try going from a chocaholic to only eating sugar free it is disgusting, but getting overweight caused it so no one to blame really.

no, sweets choccy, cakes, breads,

funny part was in the diabetic book someone wrote it shows you how to substitute foods for better ones, work this one out,

white bread.......wholemeal bread fair enough

etc etc etc

then

chocolate..........piece of fruit!!! who worked that one out ffs

plenty worse off

You'd think someone would have grown/'invented' chocolate-but-not-chocolate flavoured fruit by now!!!!!

Boots used to do diabetic chocolate - not sure how gross it was, only used to buy it for my cousin who has Down's Syndrome, and I don't think she cared what it tasted like - it was chocolate anyway! lol

Going to pick up a gym brochure tonight... That should be enough weight lifting for one day picking up that heavy piece of glossy paper.

I'm not 100% sure how to take that reply.

My cousin has Down's and is a Diabetic. Not quite seeing the funny side of it.

Weighed myself today for the first time in ages. Back up to 87.7
Oh dear.
Will get serious with the junk food and excessive whiskey/rum intake at end of Jan.
And get a new back wheel for the bike.

For my height and build I ought to be about 77 really. 80 acceptable.
Could do with getting flu- always good for losing about 4 kilos
Over a weekend, preferably, so as not to interfere with the school run

After a glorious bout of food poisoning/stomach bug (not sure which it was), and some other nasty shit that has happened to me in the past week, I'm happy to report that I have lost another half a stone.

Now weigh in at 9.5!!

This time last year I was somewhere between 11 and 11.5 iirc.

EDIT: I crept back up to 10 stone again after my last post.

M62 again Trace? Well done (for being ill!) on the loss, even if it sounds like it wasn't in the best circs.
