Lights out at The Bellagio

Having all arrived in Vegas we were all disappointed to hear that there had been an accident at our first poker venue the Bellagio. I was booked to stay in the hotel for one night before the rest of the crew arrived and because there was no electricity I found myself sitting in my pitch dark room for about five hours waiting for daylight. As I woke up about 2am I then moved on to our new home to meet up with the others. We decided to rent out a big house this time round rather than spend two months in a hotel listening to fruit machines and forever trying to avoid those tempting casino games. It’s a great big five-bedder with an amazing swimming pool, a theatre room and pool/ snooker room.

Because of the problems at the Bellagio the tournaments had to be re-scheduled which meant we would now be playing a $2500 No Limit Holdem and a $5000 Omaha before the $25000 WPT main event. At least this gave us an extra couple of days to settle in and give Ross a few lessons on the pool table. Anyway today was the first event and I started on the same table as Ross .He managed to double up very early as I managed to double down joining Barny for an early day at the pool with little Buster and the girls. Latest updates are Joe just been knocked out in 50th place and Ross looks to be going strong with 25,000 chips.
