Finally

British Open, London £200 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Report by Ram on Thursday, 18 March 2004 at 12:57 pm
Finally the one we have been waiting for. It’s been long overdue but we all knew that it was just a matter of time before Ross gained his first win on the PrimaPoker.com Tour. Having started the final table with 100,000 chips in second position Ross cruised to a victory knocking out seven of his eight final opponents. It was great to see Ross wearing such a big smile on his face all night and we are all really proud of him as much as he was relieved. It’s nice to see Ross coming into form just at the right time; we fly off to the Bellagio on April 12th and the WSOP World Championship follows straight afterwards
Yesterday was the start of one of my favourite events the £500 pot limit seven card stud. There were over 70 entrants and just before we started I was reminded that we would all be needed for a photo shoot and a TV interview the next day; unless of course we were in the final. Joe and Barny were knocked out with three tables left and Ross put up another gallant effort finishing just before the final table. I will be going into the final as chip leader with one of my adversaries Mike Magee lying just behind me.
Anyway here is another tip for the boys – never book me up on the day of the seven card final.
