This Hendon Mob Poker League is now over. Here are the full details of the new Hendon Mob Poker League 8.

New Mob Forum League Is Underway - Four World Series Packages Added

The Mob Forum League 2 finished in April with Mick Dundon aka the_croc_pl winning the League and Dave Russell (shaundead) winning the playoff . Season 3 has now kicked off with tournaments being played each Tuesday night at 8pm UKT on Full Tilt Poker. If you don't have an account at Full Tilt already make sure to use bonus code MOB for 27% rakeback and a $600 match bonus on your first deposit.

Responding to the feedback from last season we we have made a few positive changes. The points system has been revised and the games changed slightly. Whilst the $12,000 WSOP* was a fantastic prize several players commented that they thought there should be more prizes. We have come up with an idea that satisfies these comments and makes the league more interesting and competitive until the end, whilst at the same time rewarding the players who support the league on a regular basis.

We will have four equal prizes of a WSOP* 2008 support event buy-in ($1500) plus expenses ($1000 flight, $1000 hotel) plus spending money ($500) Total package worth $4000. The four packages would be won as follows.

Outright league winner: package plus solid gold Hendon Mob lapel badge.
2nd and 3rd in the league play a heads up playoff for package
4th-7th in the league play a four man heads up double shootout for package
8th-16th in the league play a nine man sit n go for a package

The league started August 7th and runs for 15 weeks every Tuesday with the playoffs 20th-22nd November. Most tournaments are no limit hold'em but there are also limit hold'em, pot limit omaha, razz and other events to let you show off your skills in several poker disciplines.
