Tony Caygill in the CO announces that he is all-in. Anthony Arlot in the SB tanks for a while, at least 3 minutes. He eventually folds, but Keith Hawkins insta-calls in the BB

Colin Wu moves all-in next hand and is in good shape when Tony Caygill calls with just 7 5 from the big blind. Wu has 8 9 which is much the same as big slick in the situation, but the board is not kind:

K 4 3 looks good to start but 7 7 send Colin Wu, Edinburgh champion, out in 6th place with £4800.

After a button raise by Colin Wu to 60,000 – Caygill moves the biggest stack on the table into the middle (691,000). After a while, Wu folds and Caygill shows him the Ace.

Tony Caygill makes it 60,000 in early position and it’s passed around to Richard Trigg in the big blind. He shoves for about 100K more and after Tony ascertains what the raise is quickly calls, showing A 9 Trigg is well ahead with J J and his hand holds up:

Caygill calls again and shows A 10.
Dring has Q 8.
The board is completed with 3 6.
Dring finished 8th and this gives him £3,000.
