Tony Corolla got it all-in pre-flop with A J against John Lynch’s J J. A board of 9 7 K 2 T did not provide the required assistance and Corolla drives home.

Goodrum's good run ends

With the board reading T 2 3 J Tony Corrolla moved all-in for 9000 into a pot of 4500. His opponent, 2006 New Zealand champion Alan Goodrum, had just 3500 left and called. He was drawing dead with A J against Corrolla’s 3 3. The river was the 2 giving Croalla an unnecessary full house.

Alan tells us it’s the first time he’s ever gone out of a tournament as early as level 2.
