Hames in action

Ashley Hames is getting involved in a lot of pots early on. Shortly after apparently bluffing Rob Akery off a fairly substantial pot with king high, he limps under the gun then, along with Robin Yitalo, calls M Hanninen’s raise. The flop comes 8 Q 8 Hanninen bets 500 and Yitalo folds, Hames raises another 1000 on top and Hanninen quickly calls. The turn is a 3 and Ashley Hames thinks before betting out 1,900, again quickly called. The river: 6 and the action reverses again, with Hames now calling Hanninen’s bet but quickly mucking when he sees his A Q Ashley Hames is down to about 10,000.

Kotronakis in action!

Blinds: 50/100

Sam Robinson-Davis opens from MP and makes it 300 to play. I Kotronakis rer-riases from the SB and makes it 850. Sam flat calls.

(1750) The flop: 9 10 4

I Kotronakis leads for 1150 and Sam folds

Wu'd you believe it

Colin Wu raises from mid position and is called by Kai Paulsen on the button. The flop comes Q Q K and Wu checks to Paulsen who bets 500, about 2/3rds the pot. Colin Wu thinks for a short while before calling. The turn brings Q and again it’s checked to Paulsen, who throws in a thousand chip declaring a bet of 800. Again Wu calls. The river is a meaningless 2 and now it’s quickly checked by both players. Wu turns over pocket 7s and the aggressor, Kai Paulsen, quickly mucks his hand.

A 4 falls on the river and Knut bets out 3250. After a while, Ruttens folds.

Knut shows AQ for a bluff while he’s stacking his chips.
