Richard Howe calls James O’Connell’s all-in and shows pocket aces. O’Connell has jacks but the flop is not kind. 8 9 T gives O’Connell the open ended straight draw, the 8 on the turn is meaningless but the 7 on the river is now. Richard Howe is cruelly eliminated from the tournament and O’Connell picks up the 1/4 million pot. Howe settles for £1450.

Is the invitation Billy Ngo makes to Ceri Rees after moving in for 80,500 on the button. Ngo had just folded AT in the small blind to Tony Crolla’s all in from the button the previous hand.

After much deliberation ‘what crap have you got?’ Ceri turns over the A, and in turn Billy flips the A Ceri now shows his 6 leading Billy to show the fold was a good one, flipping the 7
