David Maudlin open limps (utg) 5 more people limp in, then John Barber in the BB raises and makes it 600 more. All 6 limpers call and we have a 7 way pot.

D Mayell in the SB checks, the pre-flop raiser (John Barber) leads for 1000. Two folds and then C Patel in mid position calls the 1000. All the rest fold and we are two way on the turn.

John Barber announces that he is all-in. C Patel dwells for a bit and folds, John Barber shows A A for Pocket Aces!

Keith ‘The Camel’ Hawkins open raises UTG to 600, Malcolm Rutter (UTG+1) re-raises and makes it 2000 to play. Its folded around to Ian Tweedie in the BB who flat calls the 2000! Keith calls the 1400 more and we see a flop of:

(6100) 5c 8d 2d

Ian Tweedie checks, as does Keith Hawkins and Malcolm bets 3500.

Keith and Ian fold, and Malcolm scoops a 6,000 chip pot.

I wonder what Ian Tweedie had?

It’s early days yet but Keith Hawkins leads the field by around 4,000 chips over Stephen Thomas in second place.
